Comfort Hotel Saintes

What an excellent budget hotel. I arrived to a cool room. The temperature had been set to 18C. I soon warmed up by adjusting it. The air conditioning works well. The WiFi works well if a tad slow. Maybe someone else was streaming at the same time. The bed is comfortable and a good size. Large bathroom with shower in the bath. Space to move around unlike some of the modular bathroom fittings at other budget hotels. Good breakfast in the morning. I cannot find fault in the hotel. (My "complaints" are outside of the hotel control).

Clean room - quiet as requested and clean bathroom. Kettle in the room for tea/coffee (no milk).Comfortable firm bed. Friendly welcome. Accepting of pet dog - allowed in the breakfast room. Decent budget breakfast. Just off the motorway.

Very friendly staff who ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. Breakfast is a buffet style light continental. Parking facilities are very handy especially if you have a motorcycle as you can park right outside your door.

Great location to the motorway , good restaurant nearby , excellent ground floor room for us to bring the dog , green spaces to walk the dog, the hotel is on an business park but don’t let that put you off as it has everything you need for overnight stay with pets after a long journey , nearby restaurant excellent and you get 10% discount with your card , we stayed here both on our outbound and inbound legs of our journey and would highly recommend, hotel is basic but very clean and just what we were looking for , and we were made to feel very welcome and reception was extremely helpful on giving us the same room twice , communicating with the hotel is easy and they respond very quickly, all in all would stay again and it’s great value for money,

This was our 3rd of 4th stay over the last few years and we return because of the people/staff, that comfort feel and location. Close to the Autoroute, local restaurants and Tesla superchargers. Also, our dog Poppy likes the place and is always welcomed.
